Ramona… A sweetheart to us and all that knew her well. All except my brother that is. My brother the K-9 Officer used to always come over and try to intimidate her because she was so intimidating in nature. One day while all of us were out in the back yard, Ramona quietly walked up to him and without any warning nipped him on the rear, nothing hard, didn’t draw blood, just enough to say “Gotcha” and walked away. My brother starts screaming “She bit me” while Ramona just walked off. Sure enough she did (we saw the marks). After that I don’t think he ever antagonized her again, but he did tell us that they (K-9 officers) don’t use Dobies because in training, they “Remember” and “Hold a grudge”….. I guess they do!
